Winter is really here. Not always the loveliest time of year, but sometimes you can still find those earthy warm colors draping the land like confetti, cozy vibes soaking in every ounce of daylight, and that seasonal zest that literally lifts spirits. It’s officially the time for hot coffee or tea or whatever sort of thing you like, for snug sweaters and endless layers, and of course, outings to make sure we get out of the house once and a while. This is what Sundays are all about. Uncovering those one-of-a-kind places that feel so special that you don’t want to tell anyone about them, as if to keep them for yourself.
So this Sunday, I embarked on a little adventure. Just fifteen minutes away from my town of Webster Groves, I found Cherokee Street, a historical street that is up-and-coming with many coffee shops and vintage stores popping up everywhere. There, in the middle of it all, we found our treasure, a jewel of a store, The Heirloom Room.
This resale and consignment store, holds some of the most beautiful antiques home-wares, furniture, and knick-knacks ever. Seriously. With an ever growing inventory, and an eclectic mix of old and new, I can’t imagine a more perfect place to lose myself in. I managed to snap a few shots of the exquisite place, so take a look, and find some time to check it out at 2118 Cherokee Street, Saint Louis, MO. You will be blown away.
